The Hague: The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for his alleged involvement in war crimes in Ukraine. According to international news agencies, the Hague-based court has said in a statement that Putin’s arrest warrant has been issued due to the illegal transfer and deportation of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia. According to the ICC, it has substantial reasons to believe that Putin is responsible for these crimes. The International Court of Justice has also issued an arrest warrant for Maria Lova Belova, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights appointed in the office of the Russian President. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, says in this regard that legally, the decisions of the International Criminal Court have no meaning for our country. He said that Russia does not accept the constitution of the International Criminal Court, so it is not bound to accept any decision of this court.
