Available police strength is insufficient for election security: Briefing to Chief Minister KP
If 56,000 additional personnel are provided, the provincial government will be able to provide security for the general elections. An important meeting regarding law and order was held under the chairmanship of the caretaker chief minister Muhammad Azam Khan, in which the chief secretary, IG, interior secretary and police. In the meeting, the overall security situation of the province was reviewed in the context of the general elections, while in the meeting, a detailed briefing was given to the caretaker chief minister on various aspects of security.
