New Deputy Commissioners in 8 Districts Government has issued a notification appointing new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 8 districts. On Sunday (March 12) night, a notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration. All the seven appointed in the notification have been reassigned as DCs. Only one of the 8 Natore DC Shamim Ahmed has been transferred to Rajshahi. And Private Secretary to State Minister for Youth and sports Abu Nacher Bhunya has been made DC of Natore. On the other hand, the deputy secretary of the public affairs ministry, Mohammad Ashfakul Haque Chowdhury, has been moved, the private secretary of the mayor of Dhaka South City, Mohammad Marufur Rashid Khan, has been made the DC of Dinajpur, while the deputy secretary of the energy and mineral resources department, Shakeel Ahmed, has been made the DC of Dinajpur. Apart from this, Director of Prime Minister’s Office Mohammad Azizul Islam in Meherpur, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Commerce SM Rafiqul Islam in Jhenaidah and Deputy Secretary of Cabinet Department Dr. Urmi Binte Salam has been appointed DC of Moulvibazar by the government. In another notification, the officials holding the charge of DC in Dinajpur, Moulvibazar, Narail, Rajshahi, Meherpur, Madaripur and Jhenaidah have been transferred and appointed in various ministries and departments.
