Every time, every moment, the lyrics of a song would fill my senses. In such a world, I was bigger than myself. Stupidity also happened. I had rented a flat in Dadar, but one day, thinking of a song, I went straight to Parel’s shanty lane. I took off my coat etc. with great satisfaction and lay down on the bed. Eyes. Munde was busy decorating the song when a woman entered the room. She was startled to see me. She asked me in Marathi. “Who are you?” And started running. He came running to the bus stand, caught the bus and reached Dadar’s house. He laughed at his own stupidity when he came home and shuddered at the thought of a woman in someone else’s house. There could also be a very heavy penalty for entering the presence.” This story of Naushad’s biography also reflects his love for his art and his passion for work. He wrote: “At the peak of my work, once I was traveling in a local train. He had a cigarette in one hand and a notebook with songs in the other hand. When the finger started burning due to the cigarette, I consciously threw the cigarette from the moving train, after a few moments I realized that the fingers were still burning, so it was found that instead of the cigarette, the notebook had been thrown from the moving train. Parel was near. Got down at the station and walked along the train track to reach Khar. There I found my notebook lying. I thanked God that the notebook was found because it also contained the song that I was supposed to record the other day. The film journey of this great musician spanned 48 years.
